Shit got real when America’s Mykki Blanco took time out, from her debut tour of Australia, to visit FBi.

Direct from performing at Dark Mofo, Mykki delved deep – delivering a few honest insights into the politics of fame, particularly where it intersects with queer creativity and courage. Having run away to NYC at just 16, there beginning to cross-dress and develop a transgendered life, Blanco became renowned for her poetry and performance – only later becoming prominent in the realm of music too. Here she busts two new acapella raps live on the air – including timely new-media diss, ‘Trolls’.
